Walden Preceptor is an independent placement and academic support service. We keep your information private, we do not sell it, and we share only what is needed to help you find a preceptor and complete your practicum.

We collect only what you choose to give us and what helps us support your placement:

• Contact details you submit, such as your name, email, and phone number.
• Program details you share, such as your Walden track (FNP, PMHNP, DNP, RN-to-BSN, and so on), specialty, location, and timeline.
• Messages you send us through forms, chat, WhatsApp, text, or email.
• Basic site usage data, such as pages viewed and general device or browser information, collected automatically.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Match you with a preceptor and clinical site, and coordinate the steps around it.
• Respond to your questions and follow up about your practicum.
• Improve our services and our website.
• Send updates or placement openings only if you ask to hear from us.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that affect you, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

How we share it

We share your information only in limited cases, and only what is necessary:

• With a prospective preceptor or clinical site, to set up your placement, and only after we have talked with you.
• With trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as scheduling, messaging, and hosting tools, under confidentiality terms.
• When required by law or to protect safety.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards to keep your information secure and limit access to the people who need it to help you. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take care with what you trust us to hold.

You can ask us to update or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time. To opt out of messages, reply STOP to a text or use the unsubscribe link in an email. To make any other request, just reach out using the details below.
