Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of waldenpreceptor.com and the placement and academic support services we offer. By contacting us or working with us, you agree to them.

Who we are

Walden Preceptor is an independent clinical placement and academic support service for nursing students. We help you find a qualified preceptor and clinical site, prepare your Meditrek nomination, and stay organized through your practicum courses.

"Walden" and any related names or marks belong to their owners and are used here only to describe the students we serve. All program rules, deadlines, hour requirements, and approvals come from Walden directly. Always confirm requirements with your faculty, the Office of Field Experience, and your official program materials.

What we do and do not promise

• We work to match you with a preceptor and site within 5 days of a complete request, and you pay nothing until you are matched.
• We do not guarantee admission, enrollment, course registration, grades, graduation, certification, or licensure. Those decisions belong to Walden, your preceptor, and the relevant boards.
• Final approval of any preceptor, site, and Meditrek application rests with Walden. We prepare and support; the school decides.
• Compliance steps (background check, drug screen, immunizations, and trainings through CastleBranch) are completed by you and reviewed by Walden, not by us.

Your responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate information about your program, track, and timeline, to complete onboarding tasks on time, and to follow Walden's policies and your site's requirements. You are responsible for your own conduct during clinical hours and for meeting all academic deadlines.

Payment

Fees, scope, and timing are set out in your service agreement or invoice. The no-payment-until-matched guarantee applies to placement; other services are billed as described when you sign up.

Limitation of liability

We provide our services with care but cannot control Walden's decisions, a preceptor's availability, or a site's policies. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and continued use of our services means you accept the latest terms.
